its almost like Microsoft made their console with several UE projects and didn’t care to ask its creators the bandwidths needed to use their next iteration or something lol... cut the shit guys.

Velocity Architecture was created for this very reason lol you folks keep talking about how the Ps5 smart design will help it close a potential 3tf gap and are quick to dismiss the released information on VA that helps it achieve streaming assets at speeds well above its weight. ...

Ahahahahaaaaa..... ok

Velocity Architecture and their VRS technique most likely negates this. Not only can several gigabytes of data be streamed instantly it can be allocated to what’s only in sight to maximize performance to ensure these fast streaming assets can be displayed consistently at a higher quality..

You guys honestly believe Xbox just sat on their hands lol

UE5 has ray tracing and for a company that worked so closely with a manufacture have no implementation of it ...

The folks above thinking that this somehow means there’s exclusive SSD UE5 assets that are only possible with ps5 io speeds lol...

Both consoles SSDs will work effectively the same way when it comes to game assets. The Medium has this implemented in an actual game that actually exists.

The question rises tho wouldn’t you like these fast loading dense worlds at a higher fidelity with Ray tracing enabled? Lol Series X showing off UE5 would be a disservice t...

What are you saying? The Series X would run this tech demo at 1440p and 30fps also?

It’s always pleasant to see these early stages of mental breakdown. Series X isn’t a slouch by any means.

Little do folks remember the 360 cost Microsoft 700$ to manufacture and they sold at $400.

They are trying to regain the essence of that era using the same tactics with a 1st party and power driven mission.

If true that would be monumental. Game pass and Xcloud will more than pay off these losses over time with the hard loss push. It’s all about getting this device into your home if you hate it or not. It’s $399.

It’s a dangerous move ...

It was solely how they led up to the event that ruined it but other than that they are still killing it when it comes to next generation.. if the Inside Xbox content was never announced everyone would be praising them.. so I can forgive their marketing slip up.

They still have the ground work set to unveil close to 10 AAA exclusives with a couple being heavy contenders in the online domain

Agreed. It’s not what I expected and hell maybe I’m not qualified but the guy during the show said “we read the interwebs” and yet they still failed to hit key notes that could have been masterful in execution.. but they didn’t and I could have figured out 1000 different ways to word this online leading up to Inside Xbox... in fact it would have been better to say absolutely nothing and just have this Inside Xbox and garner much more respect for dropping a little peak into new ips and next ge...

Because they know more and can do more than you.

So until you see what they have offered and how they are utilizing their tools and unified development process across studios take a break from asking questions you are to impatient to get an answer for. July is right there...binge watch a show or something to pass the time.

Years ago folks didn’t even think Xbox could achieve backwards compatibility with many believing the differences in architecture would...

Nah there’s a new dawn upon us. Konami would print money with a deal that gives them a lump sum on top of a constant stream of royalties for game streaming services like Gamepass 2.0 that will continually pay on these IPs the larger the service becomes.

And living in the past is a key talent of Sony fanboys. Unfortunately with the way reality works time moves forward.

Damn. Made it sound like he made this article just for N4G or something lol chill.

It’s the dawn of a new gen. These influx of articles are indications of momentum. Each media outlet will have their time to say “Xbox is finally doing it right” article and I doubt they will run the same story twice. So prepare yourself for many more of these. One by one getting amped for the revival of Xbox.

Konami IPs are up in the air and are probably going to get the RE2 remake treatment by whoever ( Microsoft or Sony ) gets them based on rumors of IP acquisition.

Still I’ll reiterate. One states Microsoft have funded an entire R&D facility for Konami gambling machines and Konami also retains royalties from any remake or remaster of the IPs. Microsoft in turn gets the IPs and access to the staff that have worked on the games to create a separate studio.
